Serena, Owner

Serena’s journey to opening Serena's Butik was deeply guided by her faith. After many heartfelt conversations with Allah, seeking direction for her life’s purpose, she embraced Islam and committed herself to learning as much as possible about family and fulfilling her spiritual responsibilities. One significant gap she noticed in her community was the limited availability of clothing stores catering to Muslimah women in Somerset County, New Jersey. With this realization, she made the thoughtful decision to launch an ecommerce store as her first step, with plans to eventually establish a physical location. Through Serena’s Butik, she aspires to provide Muslimah women in her area with more clothing options, helping to bridge a much-needed gap in the market.

 

Jaelyn, Chief Communications Officer (CCO)

Jaelyn, Serena's eldest daughter, is currently a college sophomore. Wanting to support her mother in turning her dream into reality, she eagerly joined the team to manage the social media side of the business. As a young adult with a strong understanding of digital platforms, she saw this as the perfect opportunity to apply her expertise and help establish Serena's Butik as a well-known name among Muslimah women.
